Last week (March 22nd-24th), Team 1425: Error Code Xero attended the Seattle Olympic Regional. After a brutal defeat in the quarter finals two weeks prior in Portland, they were out for vengeance—gracious vengeance of course. They were determined to go all the way. And that they did. With a very close 2–1 victory in the finals of the competition (working alongside team 2557: SOTABots and team 2928: Viking Robotics) they were able to come back in the second and third games on the finals—winning the final game by just one point—by triple balancing, even after losing horribly the first final match. Our opponents (Team 1983: Skunkworks Robotics, team 488: X-Bot, and rookie team 4030: NullPointerExecption) were extremely tough, but somehow we were able to come out on top, winning the regional and securing a spot in the FIRST championships 2012 in St. Louis, Missouri.
However, it won’t be easy. Team 1425 needs your help. Located to your left is a link to our PayPal account. Please, if it isn’t too much trouble, donate a little bit, and help us out to be able to participate in perhaps the most awesome event on the face of the earth. Thank you.
